23/02/2021 STRIKE is not a MATTER

 

23/02/2021

Due to KSRTC bus strike only we 4 people were arrived at college from Natural Science. Akhila, Parvathi Thampi, Subinjith and me.

 1st hour was taken by Maya ma’am she continued teaching us Realism and completed it and she also shared her covid experience. 

Then benedict sir took the next hour. Sir continued teaching Early steps in Teaching and Pedagogy. The tree dimensions that is behaviorism, constructivism, and cognitivism were discussed. Then after moved to Phases of Teaching. 

During optional hour Shiney ma’am shared a moral story with us and she gave assignment topics. Next hour was taken by Joju sir. Sir took class on Advantages of Audio Visual Aids. Last hour we went to library and took Books. 

 

16/ 02/ 2021 “The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”

●After the Prayer at chapel. We moved toward English department for the Inaugural ceremony of “Phonetics Open Lab”- an initiative took by English Optional Students. Our Principal Dr K.Y Benedict Sir gave the inaugural speech. I learned how to pronounce two words "genre" and "rendezvous ". And there a mirror was set upped which aid in correct pronunciation of the words.

● First hour was taken by Ancy miss. Mam taught us about Kohlberg's stages of Moral Development

● Next hour was taken by Joju sir, sir shared 2 moral stories which are quite inspiring, 4 revolutions in educational technology and 5 M's in educational technology.

● Then 3^rd hour our Maya ma’am came to class, she taught us Naturalism, the school of philosophy which gives us maximum freedom and which teaches us to live in harmony with nature.

● Next two hours we run to our optional classes, we had hurry burry dealings there. We need to clean our side room and class in order to prepare for the NAAC visit, after cleaning the mess, we more or less made our class much more neat and beautiful than it before. Then our classmates Ancy and Anjana took seminar on Scientists. They reviled all those important facts concerned with these people who discovered DNA and its double Helix model – none other than Watson and Crick.

● Next class was taken by Gibi ma’am who taught us about variables of learning, of that one important factor is Hidden curriculum.   

● Last hour also taken by Joju sir, we had an open discussion on merit and demerits of media.

SWEET🍰🍭🍭🍭MEMORABLE DAY

A beautiful day filled with lot of small small happiness capsules. After a small prayer, first hour was taken by our dear Gibi ma'am. She taught us about process of learning.             

● Process is more important than product or Goal.

Then she mentioned about Swan Effect “Be like a swan, graceful but furiously paddling below the surface.” For being the best we need to work hard.

Then arrived our dear Maya ma'am. Each of us flipped through the book to prepare for the exam. Luckily, the teacher postponed the exam😁💚 and taught the rest of realism:

Next was our Optional hour. Let me tell you a good news?Today is our beloved Ancykutty's birthday. We all celebrated it together😍😍.Sweet Ancy brought Jilebi for us😀😀 "Guleba"😍😍

Then we went to the library and picked up some books.

In the afternoon, our Ancy teacher took the class. We learned about

Sir told us two stories that we should remember on our whole life time. One was a story of human nature and other story was about how to convey things to children in an engaging way. Then Sir listed out 10 important characteristics of Teaching Aid. 

18/ 02/ 2021 കുതിര വെള്ളം കുടിച്ചോ അതോ കുതിര വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ചോ??😂😂😂

അലങ്കരിച്ച് ഭംഗിയായായൊരു ദിവസം, പ്രാർഥനയ്ക്കു ശേഷം യോഗ ക്ലാസിലേക്ക് കടന്നു. കഴിഞ്ഞ ക്ലാസ്സുകളിലായി പഠിപ്പിച്ച യോഗാസനങ്ങളും പിന്നെ പുതിയതായി കുറച്ച്  യോഗയുടെ ബാലപാഠങ്ങളും സാർ പകർന്നു തന്നു. 

അടുത്ത ക്ലാസ് മായി ടീച്ചറുടേതായിരുന്നു സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് ഫിലോസഫിയിലെ മൂന്നാമത്തെ സ്കൂളായ റിയലിസത്തെ കുറിച്ചാണ് ടീച്ചർ ക്ലാസെടുത്തത്. ഐഡിയലിസത്തിൽ നിന്നും നാച്ചുറലിസത്തിൽനിന്നും കുറച്ചു കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഉൾക്കൊണ്ട് എന്നാൽ അവയിൽനിന്നും പുതുമ നിലനിർത്തുന്ന ഒരു സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് ഫിലോസഫിയാണ് റിയലിസം.

റിയലിസത്തെ പിതാവ് എന്ന് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത് അരിസ്റ്റോട്ടിൽ ആണ്.

ഫിലോസഫി ഓഫ് കോമൺസെൻസ് എന്നാണ് റിയലിസത്തെ കുറിച്ച് പറയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൻറെ ഫിലോസഫി ആണ് റിയലിസം. കാണുന്നത് മാത്രമല്ല സത്യം, നമുക്ക് കാണാനാകാത്ത ഒരുപാട് കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഇന്നും ഈ മായാപ്രപഞ്ചത്തിൽ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു എന്നും റിയലിസം പറയുന്നു.

ടീച്ചറുടെ ക്ലാസ് ഒരു പ്രത്യേക ശൈലിയിലായിരുന്നു.

അടുത്ത ഒരു മണിക്കൂർ രസകരമാക്കി മാറ്റിയത് ജിബി ടീച്ചറുടെ ക്ലാസ് ആയിരുന്നു.

ഒരു ഉത്തമ പുരുഷൻറെ ഗുണഗണങ്ങളെകുറിച്ച് ടീച്ചർ പറഞ്ഞു
  'അച്ഛനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവനും, ഗുരുവിനെ തോൽപ്പിക്കുന്നവനും
അമ്മയ്ക്കു കൊടുക്കാത്തവനും, ഭാര്യയ്ക്ക് കൊടുക്കുന്നവനും ആയിരിക്കണം'. 

പഠിക്കാൻ താല്പര്യം ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയെ എങ്ങനെ പഠനത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കാം എന്നുള്ളതിന് ആസ്പദമാക്കിയായിരുന്നു ഇന്നത്തെ ക്ലാസ്. 

സൈക്കോളജി ക്ലാസ് ആണല്ലോ നമ്മുടെ ഓരോരുത്തരുടെയും സൈക്കോളജി എങ്ങനെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു എന്നറിയാൻ ആയി ടീച്ചർ ഒരു കൗതുകകരമായ ചോദ്യം ചോദിച്ചു കുതിര വെള്ളം കുടിക്കുന്നില്ല എങ്ങനെ നമുക്ക് ആ കുതിരയെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിക്കാം??? ഇതുപോലെയാണ് നാം വിദ്യപകർന്നു കൊടുക്കുമ്പോൾ അത് സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ തയ്യാറാകാത്ത മാനസികാവസ്ഥയിലാണ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥി എങ്കിൽ അവനെ എങ്ങനെയാണ് രസകരമായി നമുക്ക് പഠനപ്രക്രിയ യിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന ചോദ്യത്തിനുള്ള ഉത്തരവും. വെള്ളം കുടിക്കാത്ത ഒരു കുതിരയെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിക്കാൻ നമ്മൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന മാർഗങ്ങൾ പോലെ തന്നെയാണ് 

പഠനത്തിനോട് താൽപര്യമില്ലാത്ത വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയെ  അറിവിൻറെ

വഴിയിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നതും. 

കൗതുകകരമായ ഉത്തരങ്ങളാണ് ഓരോരുത്തരും പറഞ്ഞത്.

ഏറ്റവും ഉത്തമമായ വിദ്യ സോൾട്ട് തത്വം ആയിരുന്നു.

കുതിരയ്ക്ക് ഏറ്റവും പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട

ഭക്ഷണമായ മുതിര കൊടുക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിൽ അല്പം ഉപ്പും കലർത്തി കൊടുക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ കുതിര ആവേശത്തോടെ കൂടി വെള്ളം കുടിക്കും. അതുപോലെതന്നെ കുട്ടിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ അവനെ ഏർപ്പെടുത്തുകയും, അതിലൂടെ അവൻ അറിയാതെ തന്നെ വിദ്യ പകർന്നു കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കിൽ ആ വിദ്യ ഒരിക്കലും മറക്കാതെ മനസ്സിൽ പതിയും, ഇങ്ങനെ അറിവ് പകർന്നു കൊടുക്കാൻ കെൽപ്പുള്ളവരാണ് ഉത്തമ അധ്യാപകർ

അടുത്തതായി ലൈബ്രറി ഹവർ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ടീച്ചറായ ഷൈനി ടീച്ചർ  ക്ലാസിലേക്ക് കടന്നുവരികയും, പ്രാർത്ഥന പറയുകയും അതിനോടൊപ്പം ഒരു മനോഹരമായ  ഉദ്ധരണിയും രണ്ടു പുതിയ വാക്കുകളും ഞങ്ങൾ പരിചയപ്പെട്ടു.

അവസാനത്തെ ഹവർ ക്ലബ്ബുകളിലേക്കുള്ള സെലക്ഷൻ പ്രോസസ് ആണ് നടന്നത്. ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ സാറിനെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലായിരുന്നു ക്ലബ്ബുകളുടെ രൂപീകരണം. Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat, മീഡിയ ക്ലബ്ബിലും ഞാൻ അംഗത്വം സ്വീകരിച്ചു.

04/02/2021 Thursday "Heal my restless Soul, Give me the energy to being myself"

Thursday is my Favourite day😉. Beacause we will have a yoga class in thursday.Yoga is good for our body and mind alike. Purifies and energizes our body and mind. The whole day after doing yoga we will be in a positive vibe. Today we practiced yoga which nourishes our Neuromuscular system. And also we tried two postures 'Vagrasana' and 'Sughasana'.

We were energised by yoga, and ready to attend Maya teacher class. We discussed about Fields of philosophy and also 

Areas or Problems of Philosophy:

✒ Metaphysics

✒Epistemology

✒Axiology

Various ways through which we attain knowledge also discussed briefly, include

After that ma'am given some activity.

1, Write about your negatives and positives.

2, Find your personality trait 

Second game was done with the help of a video played on the screen. We have to answer those questions displayed there and have to note the points and do sum up to find out which animal trait I do belong. I scored 340 points and from the analysis I belong to wolf trait.

Then comes Ancy teacher's class. She taught us Stages of Development.

Next class was taken by Shiney ma'am, we discussed about contribution of scientists. 👉 Biji, Parvathy, Sruthi, and Sree bhadra given a detailed class on contribution of scientists👉 Verghese Kurien, Har Gobind Khorana, Charles Darwin, Janaki Ammal.

After lunch break we continued the presentation on Pros and Cons of technology lead by our dear Joju Sir. All the students done a great job. They were so dedicated and everyone was inspired and motivated by our Joju sir.....

With the last bell, we quickly took our bags and belongings and walked out onto the veranda of the college....

05/02/2021 When kanikonna bloom in the heart

Today was the last class of the week. 

After a good prayer, the day started with our Maya teacher's class.

Teacher gave us a task to make us active as we were thinking of something in solitude.

Task was : Imagine that you have a Konna tree to your left. That Konna tree is full of flowers and buds. The task was to jump out and pick those flowers and put them right in your bag. I pinched a thousands of yellow Kanikonna, that smelled of dawn and kept them in my heart.

Today ma'am taught us the Five Schools of Philosophy

✔Humanism

Next Class was taken by Ancy ma'am. Teacher taught the rest of the portion Stages of Development as a continuation from the previous class.

 We had our first Holy mass on this first friday. So students gathered at the chapel at 11.30 pm. After that we had a pratice session for talent hunt programme that would be conducted on coming wednesday.

Today ended with fun practice with laughter, noise and lots of excitement
