I was absent today, but from the words of my friends I got a complete picture of what had taken place on this day, the day had begun with a prayer at the college chapel. In the first hour students of English optional completed their seminars on “Characteristics of Indian Society”. Maya teacher shared about the benefits of Nellikka. After that she taught about National integration. Thiruvathira and NCC Anthem played during the class also made the class more interesting and the patriotic song made a thought on happiness in unity and felt so much love to our Bharatham.
Third hour was taken by our respected principal K.Y Benedict Sir, sir continued explaining about Micro Teaching skills such as Skill of Explanation, Skill of Demonstration and Skill of Blackboard writing. For understanding more about the Skill of Blackboard writing sir asked to refer to the book Educational Technology written by Dr. Sampath. After the lunch break students from my class collected notes regarding optional subject then we had group discussion for the Literary and Arts fest. Four groups were assigned with very interesting names. 1st group was named as Panchachamaram, second group was named as Pushpithagra third group was named as Praharshini, fourth group was named as Pallavini. And we assigned students for each items and preparations of group items started. The day ends with a great desire to win the fest and bear the winning crown by our Pushpithagra team.
