Today was a beautiful day. Started with practising Thiruvathira.
Then Inauguration of our Arts fest “AVANIJA” began with a lamp lighting
ceremony. Well known Indian Poet Murukan Kattakada and Cinema-Serial actor Jeevan
Gopal were Chief guests. Murukan Kattakada sang the famous poem RENUKA for us,
what a soulful singing, those who lost their love can’t control their tears while
he was singing. Then after Jeevan Gopal had his speech. Then after Individual
items started. Kuchuppudi, Bharatanatyam, Nadodinritham, Fancy Dress, Lelithaganam,
Mappilapatt, Shasthreeya sangeetham, Padyaparayanam, Prasangam and mimicry were
those competitions conducted on that day.
